Some of the paintings you see are from The Trailor Park Tabloid which is a series of paintings of people who live or work in the Trailor Park/Resort where I work. As I worked on this project all these people became so much more real to me . You never know who is really on the other side of the desk until you take the time to find out.
I paint portraits on commission. Contact me for information
I was painting on rice paper with ink and watercolour for many years and more recently I have been painting with mixed media on heavy watercolour paper and most recently I have been having fun working on canvas with acrylics
Dan is a Security Guard. He is sitting here watching. Sometimes he watches outside on the golf cart and waves to us with the kind of 'window washing' wave that people riding on floats use. Dan's wife died young and he has raised his son as a single Dad. Dan also does taxes for people and I understand he is very good at it. He and his son have now joined his girlfriend in Utah where they were married. He came back for a visit and showed us pictures of the wedding.
One day Ann came into the Office from her bike ride looking vibrant, tall, healthy, and very comfortable with herself........
